Research Program Summary

Our group seeks to discover new base-promoted reactivity of common organic functional groups. We then use this reactivity to rationally develop synthetic methods that improve access to valuable chemicals. Mechanistic studies allow us to continuously generalize and improve these methods. Since starting our group in 2017, we have established three research areas involving new base-promoted reactivity.
